    Family Time

Over the past few weeks I have been at home caring for a knee that may need surgery.  I have had a lot of time to think and spend with my 2 amazing little boys.  Sometimes you do not realize how much life you miss because we are too busy working.   How important is work compared to what we are missing everyday that happens in the lives of our families.  I cannot get over how smart these little guys are becoming.  Everyday they ask me “are you off today Dada.  They ask as if they are afraid that the answer will be no and things will go back to how they were before.  I am missing work and look forward to going back but i know that my daily routine will be a lot different when this happens.  I want my boys to know that Dada is around for them and not to work.  Dada loves you two.  It is ironic that the reason you think you work so hard is so unimportant to those you think you are doing it for.  They just want you.  That feeling is better than any amount of money that you can give me or I can make!

A Priest was about to finish his tour of duty, and was  leaving his Mission in the jungle where he has spent years teaching the natives when he realizes that the one thing he never taught them was how to speak English.

So he takes the chief for a walk in the forest. He points to a tree and says to the chief, ‘This is a tree.’

The chief looks at the tree and grunts, ‘Tree.’

The Priest is pleased with the response. They walk a little further and he points to a rock and says, ‘This is a rock.’

Hearing this, the chief looks and grunts, ‘Rock.’

The Priest was really getting enthusiastic about the results when he hears a rustling in the bushes. As they peek over the top, he sees a couple of natives in the midst of heavy sexual activity.

The Priest is really flustered and quickly responds, ‘Man riding a bike.’

The chief looks at the couple briefly, pulls out his blowgun and kills them.

The Priest goes ballistic and yells at the chief that he has spent years teaching the tribe how to be civilized and be kind to each other, so how could he kill these people in cold blood that way?

    The chief replied, ‘My bike.’
